Volunteer Without Borders
About
Volunteer Without Borders (known as the Volunteer Resource Center until 2019) was redesigned to focus exclusively on providing immersive educational service experiences (both domestic and international) to Drew students at a reasonable cost. Students are able to travel beyond our borders to gain perspective as a world citizen, engaging with folks from backgrounds very unlike their own. We strive to have a different focus every trip, like homelessness, environmental causes, childcare, rebuilding, etc. The goal is for students to serve in a meaningful, non-disruptive way, and to take away from the experience respect for the place they’ve worked and the people they’ve worked with.
The current board members are:
Co-President Jen Arias, Class of 2025
Co-President Elliot Franklyn, Class of 2025
Vice President Mika Bidiak, Class of 2027
Vice President Cass Perez, Class of 2027
